Say hello to our financial wizard!

This is Mickey B and he looks after all things numbers related for us at Halo Coffee. Originally from Wales in the UK, he qualified as an accountant whilst working for Bank of America, then spent a bit of time at Treasury Wines before becoming the ultimate bean counter and joining us in the world of coffee.

We asked our numbers guy a few questions about his life in coffee, and here’s what he had to say!

Q. What has been your game changer coffee moment?

A. Making the jump from cups of tea to barista-made coffee when I first joined the team. Having grown up with parents that drank granulated coffee, I always thought that all coffee tasted like that and never saw the appeal….how wrong I was!

Q. We all know coffee tastes better with friends, who would be your dream coffee date and why?

A. Rugby Coach Warren Gatland. He has shown great leadership with every team he has coached and won most major trophies available to him, including taking a country as small as Wales to 3 Grand Slam Titles, World No.1 ranking and a record 14 game winning streak. Legend!

Q. What’s your coffee of choice?

A. Flat white all the way
